[[Check the working terminals|COComms03]]You step up to the nearest working terminal and attempt to power it on. The screen remains blank. "Seems the power supply to this room has been cut," you hear one of your squadmates say. "Must be something to do with the wiring," your leader replies. [[Wait for a while|COComms05]]After about 10 minutes, the power is restored. The maintenance droid beeps in your direction before moving on to the broken terminals. REBELS HAVE STARTED TO FIGHT BACK AGAINST THE TYRANNY, BUT NOTHING HAS SUCCEEDED. THE EMPIRE'S GALACTIC WEAPON, THE DEATH STAR HAD BEEN COMPLETED, AND IT'S CAPABILITIES ARE FEARED BY ALL. HOWEVER, A HIDDEN PLAGUE IS ABOUT TO THREATEN IMPERIAL FORCES, AND HAS THE CHANCE TO SEVERELY WEAKEN THE EMERGING POWER... (set: $firstArrival to true) [[Continue|COShip01]]]]]You fire your blaster at the button and the pane. The shots make explosions of sparks, but the doors remain closed. You and your squad attempt to pry the doors open, but you're not working fast enough. The horde catches up to you, and your efforts to fight them off only result in more bites tearing into the soft parts of your armor. Despite the sheer amount of undead bodies piling onto you, your squad manages to finally pry the doors open and push your leader forward. He looks back at you, debating helping the others, but you look into his eyes and shout, "GO!". The last thing you see before succumbing to the sheer amount of blood loss you have experienced is your leader, limp-running through the ruined buildings back to your ship. [[Continue...|COTrueEnd]]You are part of a squad of Stormtroopers tasked with investigating the Imperial-controlled planet of Eobac. Eobac was once an icy planet, but over the years has been reduced to a humid mix of swamps and rainforests. The ship touches down on a landing pad close to an Imperial research base. As the ship engines cut off, your squad commander comes over your comm link. “Troopers, your squad is tasked with finding where our research scientists have run off to. They haven’t sent any transmissions for a week, and they aren’t answering ours. Your task is to find them and bring them to your ship, or find confirmation of their deaths. As far as we know, they should still be on base. That’s where you all should head. I’ll mark it on your maps.” "Affirmative. We'll get started." Your squad leader replies, turning off their commlink. "Let's roll, team." They state, jumping out of the ship. Your squad members stand up and begin exiting the ship. Looking to your left, your pilot waves you over. "What is it, sir?" you ask in a low voice. "Listen, I have a weird feeling about this place." "Well, we've been sent here because we haven't been getting comms, so-" "That's not what I mean." the pilot cuts you off. "I just... there really isn't something right. Like you all aren't going to come back. Please. Make sure to (text-colour:red)[look everywhere before you go into the main lab.]" You simply nod, and turn to exit the ship. [[Go explore|COEobac01]]Time has passed, but it matters not to you. Eobac is your new home. Your new master. You follow orders to protect it, as it screams in a shrill voice that has twisted into a comforting anchor. An anchor to life. "INTRUDERS." the voice booms into your mind. "KILL THE INTRUDERS." One of your squad members puts out an arm and points, growling. You've evolved beyond the need for language. The growl in that tone means //there.// You look at where they're pointing, and see four figures. Tired, exhausted. They've been fighting for their lives. Walking towards a ship. Two humans lead the group. One with black hair, short but nimble. The other, buff, with a shotgun slung across his back. Another pair of humanoids follow. One is another human, with darker skin and long hair. The other is a Twi'lek with what seemed to be a ripped headtail. //Finally...// you think to yourself. //Fresh meat.// (text-colour:cyan)[(True Ending Achieved!)] [[The End.|Ending Message]]]You struggle to slip your body underneath the shelf, but you misjudged how much space there was. Your foot gets caught, and you can do nothing as the horde catches up with you, ripping you out from under the shelf and tearing into your flesh. [[That's gotta hurt|DeathScreen]]You and your squad sprint through the hall, quickly turning a corner to reach the exit, but instead feeling the gruesome flesh of the undead. Your limbs are grabbed and torn into eagerly waiting zombie scientists, You all scream as the group is sandwiched between the horde behind you and the group in front of you.
